Comments, Questions, Anything:

I have a new listing, MLS XXXXXX which shows the incorrect location of “Xxx X Xxxx St”. This is auto-populated so I cannot change it. One does not even drive on this street to access the property. Can you help me fix?

Mahalo!

Answer:

Yes, we can update the Location field for you.

The Location field gets auto filled from the public data at the time of the creation of the listing.
Any changes to this field would be done by someone in our office. Please contact support@hiinfo.com with the requested change.

The Location field is limited to 3 choices:
Address of the property
Project Name + Unit number
Subdivision Name

Our board noticed problems with this field in the past where agents were not sticking to the 3 choices. We would see entries such as “3 houses from the old gas station” or “across the street from the White House”
Those were just made up examples of course but there were entries along those lines and locking the field was the easiest solution.
