This information has been taken directly from the Rules and Regulations, Article II Definitions and Usage “Status” means the listing’s status with regard to pending escrow or purchase agreement, availability for showing, and expiration of the listing record on the service’s system. The following statuses have the meanings given to them here:     A/Active The property is available for immediate showing, and there is no pending escrow or purchase agreement. (MLS) Back on Market (BOM) – when to use it and what does it do

The Back on Market tool is located within the Listings Menu:   Using the Back on Market tool will change the listing’s status to Active. All statuses may be placed Back on Market (Back to Active) EXCEPT Sold (and Active, Preview and Hold of course).   When placing a listing Back on Market – It will post to the Dashboard: The Days on Market will resume from where it left off.   One example of a common situation for using Back on Market is when an accepted contract is canceled.
