If you are seeing this horrible message when opening a PDF: The likely solution is to switch your PDF viewer 1. type in chrome://plugins in the URL bar of Google Chrome 2. Disable Chrome PDF Viewer 3. Enable Adobe Acrobat (reverse this action if switching back to Chrome PDF Viewer) Historically when Chrome’s PDF viewer breaks, the issue is usually fixed the next time Chrome updates.
